Nicole Walker
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I support individuals of all ages—from children and youth to adults—in finding balance and meaning in their lives. I am passionate about guiding individuals and families on their healing journeys, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, and art-inspired therapy. My client-centered approach is adaptable to meet the unique needs of each person I work with. I find fulfillment in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, grief, family conflicts and spiritual struggles. I believe in the inherent capacity for growth and transformation within each of us, and my role is to be a guide and catalyst for clients as they embark on their journey toward meaning, growth, and healing. My approach is grounded in compassion and empathy, allowing me to build trust and respect with those I serve. I have a particular passion for working with children and youth, using art therapy to provide a safe and creative environment for emotional expression. I also recognize the importance of family dynamics in the well-being of children and youth and strive to foster resilience and confidence in young individuals. My work is informed by my own healing journey, and I seek to help my clients cultivate harmony and alignment within themselves and their world.
